My name is Claudia Perez, I am a Wedding Planner in the Mexican Caribbean and I am here to tell you how to plan a Destination Wedding in Tulum, Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Riviera Maya or Isla Mujeres. 

I'm sure you have already found a thousand of ideas about how you would like your destination wedding to be, the beaches of Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, or any of the 12 different destinations in the Mexican Caribbean, without a doubt, are the perfect environment to gather your family and friends, have an unforgettable party and celebrate your love.

But now you find that when you google Destination Wedding you get a lot of information that you don't know how to filter.  Losing focus at this point is very easy, I know, all the beautiful wedding ideas available on Instagram bring to your mind the question about how to make it for your own wedding day.

If you are at this point, let me tell you that at least three things can happen to you.

• Number one: That you contact the hotels or suppliers that have inspired your searches and have made you fall in love with their work samples, photographs and concepts, but the price is out of your reality. Extremely frustrating, I know.
• Number two: That in your persistence, focus and well invested energy and time you find the right place, with the wedding package that fits your budget and needs plus an unparalleled coordination service. But the reality is that finding these elements has its challenges.
• and Number three: That you find a professional who advises you on your way to find a place at a price that your budget can afford and meets your expectations. That they guide you in the selection of the endless number of possible options and save you from knowing the pros and cons so that you can make a decision.

And my first recommendation for you be:

"Asking for help in something that seems unknown, overwhelming and challenging is one of the best decisions you can make.

So the main question could it be, 

Should you hire a Travel Agent or a Wedding Planner?

The difference you will find is that a Travel Agency will help you find a place and a wedding package that can be adapted to your needs, it will be the contact channel for your guests to schedule their trip but the negotiation of your wedding details such as decoration, flowers, music or any other service you will have to do.

Instead, a Wedding Planner can advise you globally.

In my case, I will help you guiding you, sharing options that adapt to your budget, for both elements: for your wedding and accommodation for your guests, doing this through an easy, fun and proven procedure. Later I present you 3 possible options that fit this budget for decoration, flowers, music and everything related to your wedding day and finally review the contracts on your behalf, help you understand the policies and payment times to close the procedures with your wedding day celebration, I personally take care that each contract is executed as promised and carried out your celebration, exactly as planned.

As you can see the differences are a lot, and have a Destination Wedding Specialist at the destination will be very helpful. I can save you time, money and without a doubt, I will make things easier for you. Since not all available travel agents live in the area and this can complicate communication and obtaining necessary information. 

Here a brief history about Lauren and Dan. 

This amazing couple visit Cancun in 2020 looking for inspiration for their destination wedding, Dan was a litter scare about who much a Destination Wedding Cost is, but they decide to scouting, enjoy a mini vacations together and took seditions after that. 

They go back to Chicago with lote of questions, but Lauren had a very specific wedding vision, she was looking for a luxury, romantic and fun wedding experience, she was also looking for a beautiful beach, close by the airport.

We review a thousand options, adjust many details and end up having an incredibly fun wedding and all this without breaking your budget.
