Here I´m going to teach you to plan your Destination Wedding, yes!
Your Wedding on the beach.
Romance tourism is undoubtedly one of the most profitable markets for beach destinations. Honeymoons, anniversary trips and, without a doubt, destination weddings are the main reasons why travelers around the world invest their time and money with the intention of living moments to remember. As you can imagine, the amount of information available to plan a destination wedding, whether on the beach, in a hacienda, in a cenote, makes this process extremely exhausting for someone who combines it with their daily activities.
If you are a bride who came this far in your search process, let me ask you, have you thought that you should start planning your wedding by contacting as many service providers as you find on Wedding Wire to find out how much the package of photos, flowers, whether or not it includes premium drinks or just wine and beer?
If you had been done that, before you can breathe for a second and tell your friends that you are planning a destination wedding, you are already full of anxiety and anguished by the cost of all that. You can say, yes, wedding planning is stressful.
Wedding Planning in 6 months
And this is what one of my brides experienced, who told me just at the moment she realized that her Tulum-style wedding was going to be impossible and she had to consider other options. Kate was looking for something very specific, but she found that the options available were beyond her budget.Kate dreamed of a Destination Wedding Boho Tulum Style where the jungle mood, combined with luxury service for her and her guests, gourmet food, a beautiful beach and accessible and fast connectivity were present. The reality is that the combination of elements that Kate was looking for were complex, since weddings in Tulum today are limited in available options and accessibility make them more difficult to make them a reality. But we do not give up and we point out the MOST HAVE and the non-negotiable ones to be able to make a strategy and turn it into reality.
Planning Wedding To Do List
When Kate shared her research with me, I explained that there are always possibilities when we have clear objectives and seek in a directed way; Negotiation in a human way and empathizing with those involved make any project possible, through a win-win for all those involved.
My mission was to make the unthinkable possible. After talks with directors of a hotel in Cancun Hotel Zone, they agreed to make a very special exception for Kate and Daniel and hold their event in a restaurant on that property that met the mood she was looking for. And this was achieved thanks to the fact that the correct question could be put on the correct table.
Undoubtedly, for the property it was to completely transformation of its routines, the hotel changed all its operation logistics for a whole day and all this to give a bride the opportunity to live the wedding she expected without having to go out of her budget. You can see the result in the photos of this post.
Every detail, from the color scheme, the floral elements, tonalities in furniture and textures in the tables were carefully selected by Kate, my job was to bring to the right vendors that count with all those elements and supervise that all the suppliers understood the vision that bride and groom had for their wedding.
In my journey of this destination wedding business as a Wedding Planner, I have learned that the most important thing is not how much money there is around a wedding, but the life and learning experience that each couple has.
Connect with my suppliers is key to the success of each project and this added to one of the Four Agreements that Don Miguel Ruiz in his Toltec wisdom recommends, do not assume, ask and get what your heart seeks for that special day.
